Privacy Policy
1. Commitment to privacy
MetricLab respects your privacy and is committed to handling your data with transparency and responsibility. This policy describes what information may be collected, how it is used, and which third-party tools are used on the site.
2. Information collected
MetricLab collects only the information necessary for the site to function and to improve the user experience.
The following may be collected:
- Information submitted voluntarily through contact forms, such as name, email, and message;
- Technical and browsing data, such as IP address (anonymized when applicable), browser type, operating system, pages visited, browsing time, clicks, and interactions.
MetricLab does not collect sensitive data or personal information beyond what is necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
3. Analytics and monitoring tools
The site uses Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the tools and to identify opportunities to improve the user experience.
Google Analytics may collect information such as pages visited, time spent, interactions with the site, and technical browsing data through cookies or similar technologies. This data is used exclusively for statistical purposes and service improvement. Where applicable, the IP address may be anonymized.
The site also uses Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools to monitor indexing, search engine performance, aggregated queries, and possible technical crawling issues. These platforms provide aggregated data about the site’s presence in search results.
Google Analytics remains disabled until you choose “Allow analytics”. You may refuse without losing access to MetricLab tools, and your choice will be stored in this browser.
4. Use of information
Collected information is used exclusively to:
- Respond to messages sent through the contact form;
- Improve the site's operation, usability, and performance;
- Analyze access statistics and browsing behavior;
- Personal data is processed based on MetricLab's legitimate interest in improving its service, or with the user's consent, when required by applicable law.
5. Cookies
MetricLab may use cookies and similar technologies for the site's basic operation and to collect usage metrics through analytics tools.
Users may manage or disable cookies in their browser settings.
6. Affiliate links
The site may also contain affiliate links. Where applicable, these
links are technically identified with
rel="sponsored", and MetricLab may receive a
commission at no additional cost to the user.
7. Data sharing
MetricLab does not sell or commercialize personal data. Technical data may be processed by third-party services, such as Google and Microsoft, according to their own privacy policies.
When you use the contact form, Formspree processes the name, email, and message you submit to deliver it to MetricLab. This is separate from the local processing performed by the site’s browser tools.
Depending on the tool used, data may be processed and stored on servers located outside the user's country of residence, in accordance with the policies of the respective providers.
8. Storage and security
Most tool content is processed locally. Some preferences, workflow history, and Budget Pro document data may remain in this browser after the tab closes. Clearing browser data removes it. Budget Pro provides a document-data deletion control; use it on shared devices when you finish.
Information may be stored securely by the hosting services and platforms used.
Reasonable measures are adopted to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
9. Data subject rights
Under applicable law, users may request information about their personal data, correction, or deletion, when applicable, through the contact channel available on the site.
